Signature Cocktail

Single Origin
Espresso Martini

Bold, refined, and origin-forward

The Philosophy

This isn't your standard espresso martini. We've stripped away the coffee liqueur entirely — no Kahlúa, no shortcuts — to create something that's purely, unapologetically about the coffee itself. Clean, pure flavor with the texture and feel you love.

Three Brew Methods, One Glass

What makes this martini different is our obsessive approach to extraction. We use all three brewing methods: percolation, infusion, and espresso, each pulling different compounds from the same single-origin bean.

Percolation

Extracts bright acids and delicate aromatics

Infusion

Captures sweetness and body

Espresso

Delivers intensity and that signature crema

The Technical Side

Beyond the triple extraction, there's serious cocktail technique happening behind the scenes. We create a custom syrup from the coffee itself, then adjust with carefully selected fruit acids that amplify and enhance the natural fruit flavors already present in the bean.

If the coffee has blueberry notes, we enhance that. Citrus? We bring it forward. The result is a martini that's super true to the base coffeeyou're tasting the actual origin characteristics, not a generic "coffee flavor."

"No coffee liqueur hiding behind it. Just clean, pure flavor with the texture and feel that you love."

Foam Breakdown and Paper Filtration

Light roast coffees are delicate. Their bright acidity and delicate aromatics are beautiful, but they're also fragile. When you look at the foam structure in an espresso martini made from a light roast, you're looking at the instability that comes from fine particles and oils that haven't been properly filtered out.

The breakdown of foam structure over time. Watch how paper filtering stabilizes the crema layer by removing the micro particles that destabilize the foam matrix in unfiltered light roasts.

This is where paper filtering becomes essential for light roast martinis. Paper doesn't just remove unwanted sediment. It removes the finest suspended particles and emulsified oils that break down the foam structure before you even get the drink to the guest. Unfiltered espresso from a light roast will show rapid foam collapse within seconds. Paper filtered espresso holds its structure, allowing the crema layer to sit on top long enough to deliver the full aromatics and texture the drink deserves.

For a martini specifically, foam stability matters. It's not just visual. A stable foam layer acts as an aromatic delivery system, sitting between the spirit and the coffee, diffusing the delicate notes as you drink through it. Collapse that foam too quickly and those aromatics either flash off into the air or get drowned out by the cocktail components. Use paper filtration. Light roasts need it.
