Events
Nobody knew coffee
could taste like this.
Your guests get to discover something together. That is the whole point.
Barabica designs and runs private events built entirely around specialty coffee cocktails. You bring the venue and the people. We bring an experience none of them have had before.
The Experience
There is a specific look on people's faces.
It happens about halfway through the first drink. Someone takes a sip, pauses, and looks at the person next to them. They do not have the words yet for what they are tasting. The room gets a little louder. People start asking questions. That moment is what every Barabica event is designed around.
Specialty coffee cocktails as the entire focus. Not a novelty. Not an espresso martini tacked onto the end of a cocktail menu. A full program built by someone who has spent years figuring out what coffee can do when it is treated as the main ingredient.
The format flexes. The feeling does not.

What We Can Do
Pick What Fits the Night
Private Coffee Tasting
A structured tasting built around your beans. Joshua walks a small group through what your coffee becomes when the technique changes. Works as staff education or a curated experience for your best customers.
works well for: cafes, staff education, curious groups of 10 to 40
Cafe Takeover
Barabica builds a coffee cocktail menu around your coffees and runs it for a session at your cafe. Your regulars taste what your beans can become. The kind of night people talk about on the way home.
works well for: cafes with strong sourcing and an audience ready to be surprised
Trade Show Activation
Coffee cocktails stop traffic. A Barabica activation gives your brand a live demonstration point that is genuinely worth standing next to. Built around your product and what you want the industry to understand about it.
works well for: trade shows, brand launches, roaster and equipment partnerships
Branded Pop-Up
A Barabica experience built around your brand or venue. Custom menu, custom look, built to fit the moment. The kind of thing people photograph and ask about later.
works well for: brand partnerships, festival activations, venue collaborations
The Process
From idea to night out in four steps.
01
Tell us about it
The date, the space, the guest count, what you are going for. The more specific the better. It helps us come back with something real.
02
We come back fast
A format recommendation, a menu direction, and a number. Not a quote request that disappears into a spreadsheet. A real proposal.
03
We build it together
The menu gets developed for your event specifically. We source the ingredients, prep everything, and handle the details so you do not have to.
04
You enjoy the night
We show up, set up, and run the experience from start to finish. Your job is to be a guest at your own event.
Before You Reach Out
A few things worth knowing.
You bring the venue. We bring everything else. The drinks, the equipment, the setup, the expertise. You can actually be present for your own event.
We have done intimate groups of eight and rooms of several hundred. Pricing reflects the scope. There is no guest count that is too small or too large to have a conversation about.
Every menu is built from scratch for the event. Not because it sounds good in copy but because a generic menu would not do the job. The whole point is that it feels specific.
Most events start around $1,000 and go from there depending on what the night calls for. Reach out with what you have in mind and we will give you a real number quickly.
We are based in New York City and available for travel nationally. Travel is discussed upfront at inquiry so there are no surprises on either side.
From the Last One
Room 207 x Barabica
We hosted the unofficial CoffeeFest NYC afterparty at Room 207 in March 2026. Barabica turned up and delivered an eight drink menu showing the full complexity of what coffee can be in cocktails. A room full of industry people who thought they knew coffee. By the end of the night, most of them had changed their minds.

March 2026
Unofficial CoffeeFest New York City Afterparty
We hosted an unofficial after-party for CoffeeFest New York City. We partnered with Room 207, one of New York City's hottest new bars, to curate a night of coffee after dark: a sensory experience showcasing everything coffee can be in the cocktail format. This experience was made possible with huge thanks to the support of Maison Ferrand, Planteray, and Onyx Coffee.
